Washington Medical Marijuana — Allowed Amount

Washington Medical Marijuana — Allowed Amount

A qualifying patient may only possess at any given time an amount of marijuana necessary to meet his personal, medical use needs for up to sixty (60) days.

The Washington State Department of Health has announced that a 60-day supply is presumed to be twenty-four (24) ounces of useable marijuana and fifteen (15) plants.  See WAC 246-75-010(3)(a).

These amounts are presumptions, and greater amounts may be justified by “evidence of a qualifying patient’s necessary medical use.” See also RCW 69.51A.080
